‘Hinchada’ to Consume Railyards Stadium North Stands, Create World Best Supporter’s Section

Republic FC fans will enjoy a vastly different game day experience at the world-class venue that will rise in The Railyards. The club has dedicated countless hours to incorporate the elements that will salute Sacramento, as well as honor the cultures of the beautiful game through the four neighborhoods that make up the stadium seating.

Fans – and opponents alike – won’t be able to miss the spectacle at the north end. Republic FC’s supporters’ section – the home for those that live, eat, sleep and breathe Old Glory Red, will be the talk of the league for years to come. The passion of the songs and drums for 90 minutes will bring the section to life. However, its inspiration is connected to the global game.

Supporters stands aren’t new to football. They can be found around MLS, and the world. Along with the club leadership, HNTB Sport Group Director and Railyard Stadium Architect Gerardo Prado wanted to create “The Best Supporters Section in the World.”

Drawing inspiration from his native Argentina where intensely loyal and passionate fans takeover a section of the stadium – a hinchada, Prado, along with the stadium team have created special ways to supercharge the supporters experience.

Soccer in South America is an essential part of life — as vital as air and water, so it’s no surprise the supporters of storied teams like Boca Juniors, River Plate, Independiente and Nacional each create an unparalleled matchday environment fueled by love and devotion to their fabled clubs.

Inspired by the fervent fans through South America – and the world – Republic FC fans will have a section of the stadium that will be uniquely their own – with safe-standing seats that will allow them to sing all game, a rigging system to hoist pre-game tifos, capo stands to lead the cheers, and more. The club’s die-hard fans will have their own plaza and entrance to the stadium, as well as a beer-hall featuring the finest offerings representing the region.

With the 360-degree roof that will connect the four neighborhood stands – uniting the club’s fans as one booming voice, Republic FC’s new home will be one of the most intimidating venues to play.
